Parking Brake Cable Adapter Kit

Barnes 4WD is proud to offer our Parking Brake Cable Adapter Kit, allowing you to keep your emergency brake cable and adapt it to work with the emergency brake lever on your axle. Our design captures the parking brake cable with a bolt and nut to ensure the cable never comes loose from the adapter. This adapter will work with the emergency brake levers found on a Ford 8.8, Ford Sterling, Chevy 14 Bolt, GM AAM, and other axles that have similar brake levers. This will work with parking brake cables that are found on a Jeep Wrangler TJ and YJ, and Jeep Cherokee XJ or other similar parking brake cables. This adapter is only adapting the cable to the emergency brake lever, other modifications may be necessary to have a properly working emergency brake.
