GM 14 Bolt High Clearance Pinion Guard Bridge Kit

The Barnes 4WD GM 14 Bolt High Clearance Pinon guard is a great addition to an already great axle. The Pinon guard bridge upgrades your GM 14 bolt in three ways, first, by tying the pinion support to the truss that is welded to the axle tubes it helps prevent the tubes from spinning, rigs with big power and big tires are seeing the tubes spin in the housing, second, the built in high clearance 3/8 thick pinon guard prevents u-joint and pinon yoke damage. We have also made the pinon guard as tight as possible to the yoke to maximize clearance. Third, it adds structural integrity to any truss system by distributing loads over more of the axle. You will notice that we designed the bridge to be boxed to resist any torsional flex. This kit comes welded and we include all the grade eight hardware to install it. All that you will have to do it weld the supplied three bolt tab to your truss and bolt it all together.
