Finally, an all bolt on Disc Brake bracket for the GM 14 bolt single rear wheel full float axles manufactured before 1988, which does not use spacers! This disc brake bracket is made from 3/8" bent US plate steel. The brackets are bent and tapped to accept 1971 -1986 Chevrolet K20 3/4 Ton 4WD Pickup rotors (Centric Part # 121.68001) and calipers (Centric Part # 141.62042 and 141.62041). Disc brakes have a lot of advantages over drums. They decrease stopping distance by as much as 30%. They also do not clog with mud and other debris. Disc brakes systems can also weigh as much as 100 lb less than drum systems. Your brakes are one area that you do not want any inadequacies.
