Our GM 1-ton tie rod ends are manufactured to be of the highest quality. Barnes 4WD tie rod ends also go above and beyond when it comes to articulation. Our new and improved tie rod ends offer a wider range of movement than your typical parts store rod end. While maintaining all the factor specs of a GM 1-ton tie rod end. For the end user this means no more reaming is necessary at the pitman arm. Saving both time and money! Thread shank size is 7/8-18. The threaded stud is 5/8 -18 with a taper of 7°. Great for steering upgrades or replacing worn parts, these are sold individually and include a jam nut.
These tie rods will arrived pre-greased. No additional grease will be required. If too much grease is applied it will be pushed out around the top and bottom of the rubber boot. This has the chance of causing the boot to tear as well. When using these rod ends in your steering set up, it is recommended to apply one pump of grease, per joint, every other oil change or every 12,000 miles.
