ABS Vent Conversion For Ford 8.8 and Sterling 10.25 or 10.5

If you are building a Ford 8.8, Sterling 10.25 or 10.5 axle to use for an axle swap and adding a truss you will often need to relocate the vent tube.  This part is designed to replace the ABS sensor in the axle housing to allow you a new vent location.  The hole in the part is tapped with 1/4" NPT threads that will allow installation of a hose barb or a push to connect fitting.  This part can also be used as a block off plate if a plug is installed in the threaded hole.  The part will come with an o-ring to ensure proper sealing (no RTV required) and you will need to reuse the factory bolt that held the ABS sensor.  This part is manufactured from 6061 aluminum and anodized orange.

• 1/4" NPT Thread for hose barb, plug, or push to connect fitting, pipe sealant or tape is recommended on threads
  
• O-ring is included for proper sealing to axle housing
• Compatible with most Ford 8.8 and Sterling 10.25 or 10.5 axles, if ABS port is in same location as images
• Depending on method of install a catch can with a bottom drain may need to be installed on the end of the vent hose.  This will allow any fluid that finds it way up the hose to drain back to the axle
• This part is not compatible with applications that need to retain ABS function
